MC Hammer, the once famous hip-hop star who lost everything he made, is showing up at conferences now talking about analytics.

Some kind of thing called Always On. We don’t know if he is talking Web Analytics or some other kind of analytics, but we’re not interested enough to find out. We will comment, however, that it’s amusing that Hammer can’t be taken seriously unless videos of Can’t Touch This are superimposed over his speech. That’s frickin’ hilarious, like: Hey! This is the Hammertime guy! Remember? Now pay attention!

Jessica Delfino is a singer, songwriter, and stand-up comic based in New York City. Her songs tend to ridicule taboos and are best known for being bathroom humor oriented and include jokes about vaginas and other related topics. In her act, she plays an assortment of instruments including guitar, flying V ukulele and a rape whistle. She’s also an illustrator and attended Philadelphia’s Art Institute, as well as the University of Maine.

The Obama Roll

Ah, Obama Roll. Sounds like a piece of sushi, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not. It’s a play on the infamous Rick Roll. No, Rick Roll isn’t sushi either. You remember being Rick Rolled when somebody sends you a link to something that’s supposed to be interesting or important, but it really is a trick to get you to the Rick Astley video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

Anyway, somebody did this awesome spoof of the Rick Astley video, except they used Barack Obama in it. They cleverly spliced pieces of his speeches to match the song lyrics. They call it Barack Roll but we think it doesn’t roll off the tongue like “Obama Roll” does. Anyway, check it:

That should give you an idea of how many speeches Obama has given in this campaign. We estimate that you could make just about every song ever released out of his speeches. That guy sure likes to talk.
